Prime Minister’s announcement of loan scheme for youth will be interest free up to 5 lakhs
Islamabad (Kudrat Dainik) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that we have sent a message to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) that we want to complete the ninth review with you and we have been given a clear message from right and left. We are with Pakistan and will not leave the people of Pakistan alone but will complete our program with IMF, politics will have to be sacrificed to save Pakistan.
I want to announce that Muslim League-N and coalition government will spend all their political earnings on Pakistan and the state, they will get the country out of problems, millions of youth of Pakistan are fully capable of getting the country out of problems. The launch of Pradhan Mantri Yuva Vyapari and Krishi Loan will help in empowering the youth. He was speaking here on Tuesday at a function organized on the occasion of the launch of the Prime Minister’s Business and Agriculture Loan Scheme. Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Maryam Aurangzeb, Special Assistant Shaza Fatima Khawaja, State Bank Governor Jameel Ahmed, heads of banks and microfinance institutions and ambassadors of several countries were also present on the occasion. The Prime Minister in his speech said that while demonstrating Punjab High responsibilities as sevaks in Punjab, he has done many measures for youth, interest free loans have been provided to lakhs of youths from Punjab’s own resources, laptops have been distributed to lakhs of youths on merit basis, Laptops Punjab Apart from this, cars have been made available to unemployed youth in other provinces through Bank of Punjab. Similarly, under the self-employment scheme, we have disbursed a loan of Rs 40 billion, the recovery of which can be 99 percent. It can be inferred from this that our youth are adamant, the loans have been waived off, this shows the passion of the youth towards Pakistan, if the youth are provided with the resources and conditions, they can regain the lost place of Pakistan in the world. Will not hesitate to acquire from.
The Prime Minister said that in 2013, under the supervision of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, laptops were provided to 54,000 youth, which not only benefited the youth of the country but also the economy. Became a source of education and employment for them.
The Prime Minister said that it was about time that the government of Pakistan and the provincial governments started employment schemes for the youth. This scheme has been started, we have provided resources for it despite the limited capacity.
Under this scheme, loans ranging from Rs 5 lakh to 75 lakh will be provided to the youth, loans up to Rs 5 lakh will be interest free and their repayment period will be three years, the interest rate on loans between Rs 5 to 15 lakh will be 5 The percentage will be. Rs 15 to 75 lakh
The interest rate on the loan will be 7 per cent and the repayment period will be 8 years. All this is for the young boys and girls of Pakistan. In addition, a program has also been made to provide 100,000 laptops, which will be distributed on merit basis across Pakistan.
This is the challenge and the reality that I want to address to millions of youth and tell them that we are passing through a crisis. We have given a clear message to the IMF that we are ready for the ninth review. We want to give so that Pakistan can move forward because clear message has been given from right and left that we are with Pakistan
And will not leave the people of Pakistan alone but want to finalize the program with the IMF so that the program can go ahead and then deal with multilateral and bilateral partners.
Millions of youth of Pakistan are honest and dependable, these young boys and girls are young in soul, they have courage and energy and full potential to take Pakistan out of problems, Pakistani youth are the shining stars and crown of our head, we can overcome difficulties. are in but belong to the youth
Together we will get the country out of difficulties. The Prime Minister said that the circumstances in which we started running are in front of everyone. There are some conditions and necessary things, the responsibility of the government is the biggest, we have decided to save energy because
$27 billion is spent on our oil imports, we can save it with some measures, for this we need practical measures, I say this without blaming anyone, on top of the announcements we made on energy There is a provincial government. The High Court went and took this order.
And this was done only for political point scoring. The Prime Minister said that politics has to be sacrificed to save Pakistan. I have seen high and low, my leader and party made me the Chief Minister thrice, today I am the Prime Minister.
We want to leave a legacy that whatever the difficulties were and if we have accepted the responsibility, it is our duty to go to the last extent to fulfill it, rest is in the hands of Allah. I will give my life and will take every step to get the country out of trouble. Difficulties are bound to come in the way, one has to pass through such places, but the government and the elite class will have to sacrifice themselves first, then the public will contribute.
It is not possible and there is no scope for the poor to be a burden and the rich to be in debt. The Prime Minister said that I am addressing lakhs of youths that the size of the program can be one thousand. He said that it is many times more than this but our resources are limited. Earlier we gave scholarship of 40 billion in Punjab, since 2008 thousands of boys and girls got scholarship, today they are from one country to another.
They are outside working in different fields. Unfortunately, what we have done in 75 years is in front, everyone is naked in this bath, everyone has to accept the responsibility. Have to see, this nation is a zari nation It has freedom and it will face difficulties and overcome them.
Examples of many nations are before us, Germany and Japan are shining stars in the world today. Pakistan is an Islamic country. Government is with youth, we will support youth one by one, we will give them resources and training and youth will make Pakistan great by their hard work.May Allah give us opportunity to work.
He congratulated all the concerned institutions and personalities on the launch of the program and hoped that it would bring a positive change in the lives of the youth. Earlier, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja said that Pakistan is full of youth. 15 crore youth are not our future, they are present and a big investment, there is a long list of good news for the youth from the present government.
But the first good news is starting from today, for the first time seeds, seeds and fertilizers will be provided for production. In 2008 Shahbaz Sharif started many programs for youth, 115 billion rupees were spent on skill development, in which women were involved. Agriculture credit scheme was started and 18 billion rupees were given, 50 thousand youth were given internship under youth internship program, laptops were given to youth, which changed the map of villages and villages of Pakistan.
This scheme will now be started again. Nawaz Sharif started the Prime Minister’s program in 2013, loans were given to youth from Gwadar to Khunjerab, skills were taught all over Pakistan, more than five lakh laptops and loans were given to the youth . Almost nothing has been done for the youth in four years. Rudeness, profanity made public, politics brought down to a personal level.
He said that we have to give a better environment to the young generation, we want the youth not to go out but to play their role in the development of the country. He said that today’s program is a continuation of the promises made to the youth. Addressing the ceremony, State Bank Governor Jameel Ahmed said that over the years, empowering youth and women so that they can become a useful part of the country’s economy.
The launch of Pradhan Mantri Yuva Loan Yojana today is a source of happiness. Increasing financial inclusion of youth is a good initiative. The Prime Minister has always considered the youth of Pakistan to be a valuable asset. The launch of this scheme shows that the government is committed to empowering the youth despite financial difficulties. I am thankful to Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and his wife Fatima, State Bank of India for designing this scheme.
The government has provided assistance, the scheme has been made transparent and easy, the State Bank has also given a target of up to 30 billion for SMEs and agriculture. 14600 applications have been received before the official inauguration of the scheme, the important aspect of this scheme is that the facility of credit rating and risk sharing has also been given in this scheme, under this scheme youth will get easy loan up to Rs 5 lakh Will be provided. Facility of access to PM Portal has also been provided for this purpose.
He urged the credit institutions to ensure maximum participation of women in it. He further said that State Bank has taken many steps for the development of SMEs, with our efforts banks have given 93% of M. for the current financial year. The MEZ loan target has been achieved. He said that the State Bank has always encouraged agriculture credit.
State Bank and the government are working together in this regard. State Bank has set a target of 1.83 lakh crore agricultural loans for the current financial year. Financial institutions have also been directed to reschedule and reorganize to restore activities. Apart from loans, emphasis has also been laid on the provision of new loans. I am sure that all banks and financial institutions will play their role in the success of these schemes.
