The PCB’s appeal against the demerit point awarded on the Rawalpindi Test pitch against England has been accepted. ICC withdraws D-merit point for Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
It should be noted that the wicket prepared for the Rawalpindi Test was given a demerit point by the ICC for declaring it defective.

According to reports, D-merit marks remain valid for 5 years, while further D-merit marks can jeopardize the hosting of Pindi venue.
Remember that on the first day of the Pindi Test match, England had scored 506 runs in 75 overs at the loss of 4 wickets, while in the same Test match also scored 7 centuries.
