Army can remind Imran Khan of holiday milk whenever he wants!
Friendship with people older than you is always beneficial. I suddenly remembered the incident at Polytechnic College Peshawar Road, Rawalpindi (now EME College). Started writing but some mind was not feeling well. He called up his friend Afzal Rizvi who is 22 years older than him. He remembered the incident. Then another friend, Shahid Masood Sahib, who is also Afzalbhai’s friend, approached and thus strengthened the background. If there is still something missing or the facts are not correct, then do guide me. Both these respected friends are Gardeners i.e. graduates from Historic Garden College, Rawalpindi. The Garden College whose principal was once British white and this institution used to be the cradle of knowledge. Nowadays, every Tut capitalist easily takes admission in the same college in class 17th and passes on his ignorance to the future generations without any difficulty.
The time is November 1968. The reins of power are in the hands of military dictator and self-styled Field Marshal Ayub Khan. Some students of Polytechnic College took out a peaceful procession. The police opened fire. A student becomes martyr. The second incident happens. Lindy, a student of Garden College Rawalpindi, is returning to Pindi from Kotal. By completing an educational tour. In Attock, their goods are confiscated by customs officers. Then the third event happens. Abdul Malik, a student of the same college, was martyred after being stabbed with knives. This sad incident happened behind the college. The killers were as usual wearing gloomy hats. No one knows where they came from or where they went. Amidst the mourning, Shahid Masood, Afzal Rizvi, Raja Anwar, Parvez Rashid, Irfan Marwat, Rashid Ahmed and others protested in front of Secretariat No. 2 (Ministry of Defence).
Zulfikar Ali Bhutto (Bilawal’s grandfather) immediately swung into action. He did not even know the names of the victims. But he manages to ignite fire against Ayub Khan across the country with his blazing voice, in which his fort is gutted and he quietly gives up power!
Now after 54 years we are watching the same film again. The script is a bit different. Both the students who were martyred were not anchor workers. Nor were they so called investigative journalists. not youtuber. Not a social media activist! The brief news of his martyrdom was published by the newspaper Nawai Waqt, which has always raised its voice against military dictators. Arshad Sharif, on the other hand, was the full-time spokesperson of PTI. He used to protect her day and night. He used to take out pieces of paper from far and wide to prove Imran Khan as God. Anyone who disagreed with him started arguing with him on live TV shows. He didn’t shy away from a one-on-one fight.
The same Arshad wrote a letter to the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court one day that my life is in danger, please do something. nothing happen. The fearless, fearless, fearless and courageous journalist had to hide. First in Dubai then in Kenya. But the angel of death comes only where death is written. Killed by Kenyan police. Arshad’s murder shook the country. The international media has also strongly condemned this massacre. Hamid Mir, Absar Alam, Asad Toor, Umar Cheema, Pashtun nationalists etc all those whom Arshad used to throw mud day and night, all condemned his murder and were forced to do so.
The blind need two eyes! So just Imran Khan got a corpse to do politics and he considered himself Bhutto. Arshad’s body turns out to be a ‘no ball’ for Khan. He immediately dropped wickets and came out of the crease, and was still confident of hitting big sixes. But given the recklessness and rashness of its consequences, it is unlikely that it will emerge out of a dangerous race!
Khan sir, you are not even Bhutto’s cousin. Till date no one has been able to accuse Bhutto of corruption. But you have become famous as a certified thief. Bhutto’s war was with a dictator and you are embracing your former masters who gave you the crutches that enabled you to walk into the Prime Minister’s house. When that crutch was snatched from you and handed over to some other needy ‘elite’ person, you lost your cool. Lightning started falling on his own land! Your long march is Bhonda Lahori theatre. The Long March was taken out by the lawyers on 9 March 2007. How Musharraf’s power was kept brick and stone. The commandos waving their fists in the air had to flee the country.
Bhutto fought not one but two dictators. But there is no dictator in power at this time. Your long march to back this crutch is broken! Or that I have to appoint my own Yuthia army chief. What else is on your Long March?
And you were never a prime minister with a huge mandate. Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Sheikh Rashid, Faisal Wawada, Amir Liaquat, Firdous Ashiq Awan had looted your pockets which brought you to power apart from crutches. By the way, those who had two-thirds of the mandate so heavy, they came and fell on them so that they could not rise under its burden. Even after getting such a huge mandate, you will not be able to reach the gate of the Prime Minister’s residence with crutches. There is no doubt that an army of youths will attack you, but it will serve no purpose other than to defame your opponents character through dirty and filthy abuses and fake videos. It is not difficult for the army to kill you. He can remind you of Holiday Milk whenever he wants. She is patient now. It is better not to touch the sheep’s nest, but what to do with foresight to you!
