SC upholds bail to Anand Teltambde, dismisses NIA plea

The Chief Justice said that the IIT Madras program was accused of organizing Dalits. Is organizing Dalits a prohibited activity? Bhati replied no, I didn’t mean that he is a professor and he can say whatever he wants to say.
He said that the court should look at the larger canvas of the functioning of the CPI(M) and there is enough evidence to prove that Teltambde is associated with the organization in propaganda of ideology, organizing, transfer of funds etc. After hearing the detailed arguments, the bench said it is rejecting the NIA’s plea.
