Announcement of starting the first bus service for women

Karachi: The Sindh government has announced to start the first bus service for women.
Announcing the launch of the first bus service for women in the province, Sindh Transport Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said that the Pink People’s Bus Service for working women in Karachi would start from February 1.
He said that the first route of the bus service has been selected from Model Colony, Shahrah Faisal to Tower Marg and the pink bus service will run every 20 minutes in the morning and evening during office hours.
The provincial minister said the pink bus service will run after every one hour during normal hours while the operation of People’s Bus Service in Sukkur, Larkana, Hyderabad and the introduction of Routes 4, 5, 6 and 7 in Karachi have also been reviewed.

Sindh Transport Minister directed to start People’s Bus Service in Sukkur on 29th January and also directed MD Sindh Mass Transit Authority to visit the remaining routes of People’s Bus Service in Karachi.
Sharjeel Memon said that buses should be run on Route 4, 5, 6 and 7 of Karachi as soon as possible.
