Now once again senior RJD leader Rambali Chandravanshi has attacked the Nitish government over the ban. The RJD leader said that alcohol is like God in Bihar, it is nowhere to be seen, but it is available everywhere. Along with this, when asked about the death of 3 people due to poisoned liquor in Vaishali district, Chandravanshi said that death wakes up. However, when later banned, he retorted that there was no prohibition or liquor problem in Bihar.
Nitish in jail on ban
Earlier, former Chief Minister of Bihar and founder of Bharatiya Awam Morcha, Jitan Ram Manjhi had said that in Bihar, people who drink small amounts of alcohol should not be arrested. Questioning the implementation of prohibition in the state, he said that there are many flaws in it. Due to this, liquor smugglers are not being caught in the state. Poor people who drink only 250 grams of alcohol are being arrested and sent to jail.
