3 Cryptos to Buy Ahead of the Halving and Upcoming Rate Cuts

Now might be the time to seek crypto exposure with these high-risk, high-reward plays

The crypto market has undergone a significant correction recently. However, in my view, this cooldown provides a prudent entry point before the next rise. As we have seen many times in previous bull markets, Bitcoin (BTC USD) often corrects by 15-20% before reaching new highs in the following weeks. I believe we could see something similar in the coming months.

Historically, a Bitcoin halving has been preceded by a price correction as Bitcoin consolidates, and it appears we are going through that now before the effects of the halving catch up. Once the supply shortage due to the halving combines with billions of dollars flowing into Bitcoin via spot ETFs, we could see crypto rally to new heights.

In the long term, this could drive the rest of the crypto market higher, especially when the fabled off-season arrives. With that in mind, let’s examine three cryptocurrencies to consider purchasing before the Bitcoin halving and upcoming interest rate cuts take place.

Tatsu (TAT-USD)

Tatsu (TAT-USD) is an emerging player in the crypto sector that offers an exciting concept. The project combines machine learning with decentralization to enable advanced application development. After a correction at the end of March, the cryptocurrency has recently recovered significantly.

Tatsu is working to create a world-class open ecosystem where developers can build together and benefit from the growth we are seeing in the machine learning space. Tatsu is also closely connected to him Request sor (TAO-USD), a cryptocurrency that has been making a lot of noise lately. Bittensor has risen from $50 to $580 since October. Tatsu could certainly see similar gains with the same tailwinds.

Additionally, since Tatsu has only recently been listed on the Mexc exchange, it seems likely that further gains are on the way once the trading frenzy subsides. These price fluctuations make Tatsu one of the riskiest and most rewarding bets among these three picks. But with the right timing, Tatsu could still deliver above-average returns over the long term for those who can tolerate that volatility.

Tectum (TET-USD)

Tectums (TET USD) The proprietary proof-of-utility consensus mechanism enables this network to achieve unprecedented transaction speeds of over 1 million per second – a quantum leap over older blockchains such as Bitcoin and ether (ETH-USD).

With the ability to process exponentially more transactions at lightning speed, Tectum has one of the best utility of any Layer 1 blockchain. Therefore, it ranks high among my top tier 1 crypto picks.

However, I should note that Layer 1 cryptos can only deliver amazing returns if they prove their utility. Other Layer 1 startups like DevvE (DEVVE-USD) have lost 50% of their value from their recent highs due to dilution and failure to provide important things like a testnet.

I believe that Tectum can be a big winner once the technology underlying the project is tried and tested. Whether it will ultimately succeed remains uncertain. But Tectum’s upside potential is certainly huge if this blockchain gains traction.

EGO (EGO-USD)

I highlighted it before EGO (EGO USD) during the pre-sale, and the value has increased significantly since then. However, this token has recently undergone a correction along with the broader crypto market. Despite the recent decline, I continue to see significant upside potential for EGO as the tailwinds for this project increase.

EGO is the native token of Counter, a collaboration platform that brings creators, fans and brands together. Paysenger uses cutting-edge technology and proprietary AI developed by a former Stanford professor. The platform allows paid requests for exclusive content, tips and expert opinions. Users can also consume paid content on a subscription basis.

Paysenger expands the audience of paid creators by allowing users to earn EGO tokens for completing tasks. It optimizes collaboration between “idea creators” and content creators. It will also introduce personalized AI models that produce art that mimics a creator’s unique style.

Paysenger basically combines Web 2.0 and Web 3.0. As a result, it promotes blockchain adoption by attracting many Web 2.0 users. I believe EGO could be a multi-bagger choice since it only has one Market capitalization of around $4 million at the time of writing.

However, this project has more than 1 million users and is an alumnus of the Consensys Accelerator. Passenger has also been recognized as a startup program Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) And Google (NASDAQ:GOOGNASDAQ:GOOGL) and received more than $200,000 in grants from major infrastructure giants. Enough said.

Small, low volume cryptos

On small capitalization and low volume cryptocurrencies: InvestorPlace does not regularly publish commentary on cryptocurrencies whose market capitalization is less than $100 million or whose trading volume is less than $100,000. Because these “penny cryptos” are often a playground for fraudsters and market manipulators. If we publish a comment on a low-volume crypto that may be affected by our comment, we ask InvestorPlace.com writers to disclose this fact and warn readers of the risks.
