America First Credit Union Selects Loquat to Accept Small Business Members

America First Credit Union has selected Loquat Inc. to improve the onboarding experience for small business members. The partnership will provide small business owners with time-saving mobile solutions that make it easier, faster and safer to run their business and have full control of their finances.

“We have seen significant growth in small business accounts among our members – and these members are eager to get started quickly,” said Karey Thomas, SVP of branch delivery at America First Credit Union. “Partnering with Loquat will provide our business members with a modern experience tailored to the needs of the commercial market.”

In addition to opening new business accounts, Loquat offers virtual debit and credit cards and allows payment and credit products to be set up in minutes using a proprietary process that reduces the time it took to onboard new business members in the past.

“We look forward to helping America First Credit Union strengthen its commitment to small businesses,” said Zarina Tsomaeva, founder and CEO of Loquat. “More and more entrepreneurs are becoming self-employed and finding a financial institution to support their business needs can be complex and time-consuming. America First Credit Union will fill that gap for them.”
