SCBAP has condemned the attack on Imran Khan’s residence.

The Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan (SCBAP) on Wednesday issued a statement condemning human rights violations by law enforcement agencies. This statement by the Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan came a day after the police of Pakistan tried to use all unfair methods as a pretext to arrest PTI Chairman Imran Khan.

It should be noted that Khan has thanked the Supreme Court Bar Association for taking a stand against the unjust methods used by the police of Pakistan. He took it to his official social media handle to share the above statement along with the post, which read as follows, “I am grateful to the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBAP) for making the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBAP) took a very strong stand regarding the supremacy of the Constitution as well as the rule of law in the country. We also appreciate your condemnation of the excessive use of force by the authorities in Zaman Park.

In a statement issued by SCBAP President Abid S. Zuberi and SCBAP Secretary Akhtar Shabbir, condemning the entire incident, they said, “SCBAP has violated the rule of law and the constitution and Respects the decisions of the courts. . We condemn any human rights abuses and abuses of law enforcement agencies taking the law into their own hands.

The statement added that “any form of violence is not acceptable in a democratic country governed by the rule of law and the constitution.” In the warrant issued by the magistrate, the police excesses in Lahore to arrest the former prime minister are excessive and not in accordance with the law and in gross violation of the fundamental rights of the citizens of the nation.

At the same time, the statement added that every person should be treated according to the law and due process should be followed.
