I founded Checkout 15 years ago to help merchants solve their complex payment problems. We have achieved this by developing some of the best proprietary payment technology in the world and eliminating the legacy payment stack.

Our only goal has always been to put the customer at the center and help them achieve what matters most to them: more revenue, better value, improved data, better performance and better customer experiences.

During my time at Checkout.com, I met, worked and was inspired by many talented people. People who have dedicated their time, energy and minds to help us solve merchant problems and help them deliver new payment experiences to their respective customers. We all share a common belief: it is and should always be about helping our customers stay ahead. They stay ahead of regulation, their customers’ expectations and their industry – this is how we help them be successful.

With this in mind, I am extremely proud to announce the promotion of Jenny Hadlow to Chief Operating Officer. Jenny is an experienced executive who joined Checkout.com in late 2021 and leads our Global Revenue Operations team. There she contributed to our commercial excellence and scaled our revenue operations globally. Jenny will now also lead our Risk Operations and Merchant Care teams.

Jenny has a unique perspective on the demands of meeting global demand through service delivery excellence. I have no doubt that she will excel as our Chief Operating Officer and will be instrumental in helping us ensure that our service and support teams deliver on our promises to our dealers. Jenny is also personally dedicated to supporting our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) and community initiatives within and outside the company. She will move to our London headquarters, where she and our newly appointed Chief Revenue Officer, Antoine Nougué, will both join the leadership team.

I am also announcing the departure of Céline Dufétel, President and Chief Operations Officer and former CFO, who is leaving the company after three years at Checkout.com for personal reasons. Céline has shaped and developed the finance team, led the marketing and operations teams through change and contributed to our DEIB initiatives, a focus we will continue to pursue with passion. I am grateful to Celine for her enduring contribution to our organization and wish her all the best in the next phase of her journey.

I would like to take this opportunity to reflect on the incredible business dynamics we see in the organization today. Year-to-date, our net sales have increased by 42%, with 550 million unique e-commerce transactions in May alone across all of our platforms for merchants such as Klarna, Bytedance, Netflix, Vinted, Sony, Uber Eats, Docusign, Delivery Hero, Shein and others many others were processed. I would also like to express my excitement for our next chapter with our new leadership team at the helm.

With this in mind, we must remain true to our mission. This means we always put our customers first, focus on the problems we solve for them, stay one step ahead in payment performance and continue to abstract the complexities for them (be it regulation, more payment methods, system preferences , compliance, etc.). . In fact, the game we play, the race we take part in is far from over, and with our sporting mindset and talented team we can create truly outstanding products and play a key role in the future of the digital economy.

Thank you to everyone who has accompanied us on our journey so far and continues to support our mission to help retailers succeed.
