A ‘major political resolution’ is set to be passed at the BJP’s two-day Delhi executive meeting tomorrow.

The two-day state executive meeting of the BJP, the party’s first since its defeat in the Delhi municipal elections, will begin on Friday.
Sources in the Bharatiya Janata Party said that the change of state unit is likely to take place in the meeting to be held after the BJP’s national executive meeting on January 16 and 17. Delhi BJP working president Virendra Sachdeva will preside over the meeting.
“The party’s performance in the MCD elections, AAP’s hijacking of MCD House twice this month, and the failure of the AAP Delhi government are on the agenda for the discussion,” a party source said.
The first meeting of the executive will be held in the evening of January 27 at the state office, which will be attended by senior leaders and state officials.
On January 28, a full house meeting will be held at the Dr Ambedkar Bhavan Auditorium with three sessions and what insiders described as “an important political resolution”, is expected to be passed.
“The party has given responsibility for arrangements to new workers associated with its frontal bodies,” the source added.
