Hyderabad e-Mobility Week: First-ever Formula E race and more in store

The city of Hyderabad will witness the launch of many e-vehicles by top automobile companies during the Hyderabad e-mobility week hosted by the Telangana government from February 5 to 11. The event will showcase the widest collection of electric vehicle charging infrastructure. and energy storage solutions, and host the country’s first Formula Electric single-seater racing show.
World leaders, eminent academics, business leaders, and policymakers will discuss the future of sustainable mobility and the global EV ecosystem at this event. Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao said that Telangana is all set to showcase its potential in the EV segment to the world. “We were one of the first states to launch an electric vehicle and energy storage policy and the state, being a pioneer in adopting sustainability, wants to be an attractive investment destination in the EV segment,” he said. ” They said.

Mobility Next Hyderabad will be held on February 6 at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre. It will feature world leaders, eminent academics, and policy makers discussing the future of sustainable mobility. The event will feature a mix of activities such as panel discussions, keynote speeches and networking sessions by prominent stakeholders in the global sustainable mobility ecosystem.
Eminent industry leaders, including Ola Founder and CEO Bhavesh Aggarwal, Mahindra Electric’s Suman Mishra, Ether Tarun Mehta Co-Founder and CEO, Uber India South Asia President Prabhajit Singh, SKODA Auto Volkswagen India Executive Director Christian Kahn von Selen, MD Kmd. The city will host one of the first EV exhibitions in India – the Hyderabad e-Motor Show 2023 – on February 8 at the Hitex Exhibition Centre. This will include an extensive fleet of electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, and energy storage solutions. Several e-vehicles from top automobile companies will be unveiled at the show. While Mahindra will showcase the Pininfarina Battista, Stellantis NV will launch its Citroen eC3 car. On February 10 and 11, the Hyderabad E-Prix, the first-ever Formula E race in India, will take place over two days. Formula E is the world’s largest electric single-seater racing series managed by the Fédération Internationale d’Automobile (FIA). Some of the fastest single-seater e-cars from global OEMs, 11 highly competitive constructors, and 22 of the world’s fastest drivers will compete in the E-Prix.
