Daily trading volume on Coinbase International has increased this month, and only five days in March saw daily trading volume fall below the $1 billion mark on the platform.

The average daily trading volume for March was significantly higher than previous months, with trading volume reaching a record high of $6.23 billion last Wednesday.

Coinbase International Exchange is only available to non-US customers in select jurisdictions and provides institutional clients with access to over 30 perpetual futures and spot markets.

“It is still early, but the market has demonstrated that it wants to see a trusted international counterparty built in a compliant manner and Coinbase International Exchange is well positioned for continued growth,” a Coinbase spokesperson said.

Coinbase stock price rebound

The news comes as Coinbase’s stock price rose more than 10% in the past 24 hours, now trading above $280 per share, according to TradingView. data.

The cryptocurrency exchange’s outlook has grown in line with the broader cryptocurrency market, which has seen a more than 61% rise in market capitalization since the start of the year. Notably, Coinbase shares rose by the same amount, during the same period.

Coinbase still has a way to go before reaching its new all-time high of $342.98, reached in November 2021.
