Popular crypto trader Jordan Fish, known online as Cobie, has begun beta testing Echo, his new crypto angel investor platform.

The platform is a way for crypto investors to come together in groups and make collective investments in crypto projects. The idea is to provide a unified network supporting angel investments in the traditionally fragmented crypto space.

“Echo is brand new and probably won’t work. But any effort to level the playing field and increase access to early-stage crypto investing seems worth it. So maybe we’ll fail, but I hope it will be an admirable failure. Well done. Tim,” Cobie said on Telegram. “It’s important to me that you include ‘well done Tim’ in the article.”

According to Fish, Echo is “only available to self-certified qualified/sophisticated investors” and regional rules may apply. “For example, residents of Singapore will be subject to different rules than residents of Japan, etc.,” he said. explain on X.

When users sign up, they have to answer a “very long” questionnaire about their investment history. “We rely on these responses and your self-certifications to understand whether Echo is right for you,” Fish noted.

The platform is currently in invitation-only mode. Emails began being sent to the first adapters on March 28.
