DCB Bank, a new generation private bank, today announced that it has successfully implemented and integrated the Goods and Service (GST) payment portal. This complements the tax payment options offered by DCB Bank which include Income Tax, Advance Tax, Direct Tax and TDS (Tax Deduction at Source) payment. The direct tax payment facility was introduced last year after the bank was appointed as an agency bank for processing government business.

By integrating with the GST portal, both customers and non-customers can utilize DCB Bank’s branch network to submit GST payments. Additionally, DCB Bank customers enjoy the benefit of online GST payment through DCB Internet Banking facility. DCB Bank has said that GST payment can be made at the branch in cash (up to INR 10,000) or by check or sight draft (from any bank). This applies to both DCB Bank customers and non-customers.
Customers can create challans on the Goods and Services Tax portal with GSTIN details and make tax payments anytime, anywhere with just a few clicks. Any individual can make tax payments quickly by accessing the portal https://www.gst.gov.in/.

Next, log in and enter your GSTIN ID. Next, navigate to “Services,” then “Payment” and select “Create Challan” option. Finally, enter the required challan details along with the amount and payment method. This can be either e-payments or over the counter and select DCB Bank.

For e-payments, the user is required to enter their DCB internet banking credentials, verify the tax details and authorize the tax payment. For over-the-counter payments, users need to submit the printed challan along with cash, check or sight draft of any bank at the nearest DCB Bank branch. After successful completion of tax payment, users can download confirmations/receipts from GSTN portal.

Mr. Praveen Kutty, Head Retail & Agri Banking, DCB Bank said, “DCB Bank offers taxpayers a quick, secure and efficient way to file taxes and pay GST. This online feature is convenient and allows taxpayers to submit the payment from the comfort of their home or office, resulting in significant time and cost savings. Our thanks to xyz, the Government of India, for their support in this endeavor.”
