Legend Ismail Tara passed away at the age of 73
Famous actor and comedian Ismail Tara passed away in Karachi on Thursday. He was 73.
The veteran made his debut with the hugely popular comedy show Fifty-50 in the 1980s.
Tara was admitted to a private hospital for the last few days for treatment of kidney ailment.
Ismail Tara has been associated with various sectors of the industry since inception in 1963.
He has been excelling in his talent and skills in stage and theater plays, TV shows and drama serials and films as well.
Ismail Tara also served as writer for the classic Fifty-50.
The veteran was honored with five Nigar Awards for Best Comedian in the 90s, including “Haathi Mera Saathi”, “Aakhri Mujra”, “Chief Sahab”, “Deewaren” and “Munda Bigra Jaye”.
