Manoj Bajpayee will headline Zee Studio’s courtroom drama.

Actor Manoj Bajpayee is all set to star in a courtroom drama, produced by Vinod Bhanushali’s Bhanushali Studio Ltd, Sapurn S Verma and Zee Studios.
A press release said that the untitled project will mark the feature directorial debut of Apuru Singh Karki, known for episodes of series like Sprints, Saas Bahu Aachar Pvt Ltd and Flames.
“When Vinod Bhanushali and Sapuran S. Verma told me about the story, I was intrigued and immediately agreed to be a part of this beautiful script. The courtroom drama will enthrall and intrigue the audience to be created by Apuru Karki, and We are excited as we start shooting today. I am sure this film is something that people will remember for a really long time. Bajpai said in a statement.
The production of the film started on Sunday and the makers aim to release the film in 2023.
Karki said that he is very happy to work with Bajpayee in his first film.
“This film has everything that attracted me to it – a good story, solid cast, strong producers backing it. The script calls for a calm and determined actor like Manoj Sir to lead the film. The demand was there and we are delighted to have him on board. It is definitely an unforgettable opportunity for me,” he added.
Shariq Patel, CBO, Zee Studios, said the production house is committed to exploring new areas of entertainment and pushing the envelope with its content.
“The film is a gripping courtroom drama and will feature Manoj Bajpayee in a never-seen-before role,” he added.
Presented by Zee Studios and Bhanushali Studio Limited, the courtroom drama is also produced by Kamlesh Bhanushali, Asif Shaikh and Vishal Gurnani. Juhi Parekh Mehta serves as co-producer.
