Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has apologized to the country for the prolonged power failure.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif tweeted that he apologized on behalf of his government for yesterday’s power cut.
On behalf of my Government, I would like to express our regret for the inconvenience caused to our citizens due to the power cut yesterday. The reasons for the power failure are being investigated on my orders. Responsibility will be fixed.

The Prime Minister said that an investigation is underway to find out the cause of the breakdown and those responsible will be traced.
It may be noted that earlier, Nepra and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif had taken notice of the long breakdown. Last day around 7.30 am, the entire country including Karachi and Islamabad lost power, after which it was late at night. was given.
