Helder Rosalino from Banco de Portugal has been confirmed as keynote moderator of EBAday 2024

Rosalino has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Banco de Portugal since 2014 and has responsibilities in the areas of markets and reserves management, money issuance, payment systems, information technology, accounting and financial control, and innovation management at the central bank.

As a member of the High Level Group on the Digital Euro, Rosalino also brings views from the European Central Bank.

He has been working at Banco de Portugal since 1994, where his roles included Head of Issues and Treasury Department and Head of Human Resources, and will certainly be able to provide insights into the Portuguese market.

In 2023, EBAday welcomed Carlos A. Sanz Luengo, Head of Payment Systems at the Bank of Spain, to open the two-day event.

Sanz Luengo joined the Bank of Spain in 1993 and during these 30 years has held various positions, most of them in the areas of monetary policy and reserves management (from 1999 to 2018).

This informative keynote will be the opening session of the two-day conference, which is set to cover a range of payments topics including CBDCs, cross-border payments and instant payments.
