Rosalino will take the stage to open the show for this year’s EBAday in Lisbon, Portugal and explore the roadmap for a modern and secure payments market.
Rosalino has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Banco de Portugal since 2014 and has responsibilities in the areas of markets and reserves management, money issuance, payment systems, information technology, accounting and financial control, and innovation management at the central bank.
As a member of the High Level Group on the Digital Euro, Rosalino also brings views from the European Central Bank.
He has been working at Banco de Portugal since 1994, where his roles included Head of Issues and Treasury Department and Head of Human Resources, and will certainly be able to provide insights into the Portuguese market.
In 2023, EBAday welcomed Carlos A. Sanz Luengo, Head of Payment Systems at the Bank of Spain, to open the two-day event.
Sanz Luengo joined the Bank of Spain in 1993 and during these 30 years has held various positions, most of them in the areas of monetary policy and reserves management (from 1999 to 2018).
