Kanthi/Kolkata: The Adhikari family has now extended a tea invitation to Trinamool national general secretary and MP Abhishek Banerjee amid a meeting between Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Shobhandu Adhikari. After Shobhindu’s meeting with the Chief Minister, this invitation now signals a change in the political ‘air’. In fact, this coming December 3, Abhishek Banerjee will visit Kanthi in East Midnapore for a meeting. Tamlok MP Devindu Adhikari has invited him for tea when he comes to this meeting. After his statement, another discussion has started. In such a situation, questions are being raised in the political corridors, whether new equality will come out in ‘Tea Pe Charcha’? The Trinamool Congress meeting is going to be held in Shanti Kunj area of Shibindu Adhikari i.e. Adhikari family. Abhishek Banerjee is going to hold a meeting in the grounds of Kanthi Prabhat Kumar College. However, why did Devindu suddenly invite Abhishek for tea? On this Devindu Adhikari said, ‘Abhishek is coming within 100 meters of the house. That is why he is invited to go after tea. If Abhishek comes to Shanti Kunj on invitation, it will be very happy. On this invitation, former chairman of Midnapur Zilla Parishad, Uttam Barik, said, ‘They can only invite. Only he can decide whether Abhishek will come or not. Devindu has shown modesty, but how much modesty remains to be seen as Devindu still calls himself a Trinamool Congress MP, but has not appeared in any Trinamool program for the past year and a half. He also ignored the party whip during the presidential election. On the other hand, when asked about the invitation, Shibindu Adhikari said that only the person who gave the invitation can tell about it.
