Hyderabad: Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) President Sanjeev Bajaj said risk-taking is essential for any country to achieve sustainable economic growth. He was addressing the annual regional summit of CII. “South India @ 100: Going Beyond Borders”.
Sanjeev Bajaj, Chairman, Bajaj Finserv Ltd said, “The next decade belongs to India. We have a vibrant innovation ecosystem in the country. The top three developments in the next 25 years will be in physical and digital infrastructure.
CII Director General Chandrajit Banerjee said that “In 25 years the digital universe will likely be characterized by greater integration of technology into everyday life, 2047 will see an increasingly important role in the digital world”.
CII Chairperson Suchitra Ella said that India is making great strides in improving its ecosystem for innovation as reflected by its improvement in the Global Innovation Index. “India is ranked 40th in the Global Innovation Index 2022. India has also performed well in areas such as knowledge creation, impact and diffusion. We need to build adequate infrastructure that supports this innovation,” he said. added.
