10 people were killed and 9 were injured in an apartment fire in northwest China’s Xinjiang province.
Officials said nine other people were injured with non-life-threatening injuries. State news agency Xinhua reported that the cause of the accident is under investigation.
Earlier this week, a massive fire ripped through a textile factory in central China’s Henan province, killing 38 people and injuring two.
