ISIS-K has claimed the attack on the Pakistani embassy in Kabul.

“Independently and in consultation with Afghan authorities, we are verifying the veracity of these reports,” the Foreign Office said.
“However, the terrorist attack is yet another reminder of the threat that terrorism poses to peace and stability in Afghanistan and the region,” it said.
“We must act resolutely with all our collective might to defeat this menace,” he added.
The FO said that on its part, Pakistan remains steadfast in its commitment to fight terrorism.
Charge d’Affaires Obaidur Rehman Nizamani was targeted by unknown gunmen while he was walking in the premises of the Pakistani Embassy. His guard was seriously injured in the attack.
