The obesity crisis affects one in three Australian adults and is linked to rates of chronic diseases including diabetes, heart disease and cancer.

But now, help is at hand, with experts saying “blockbuster” diabetes drugs could fill a big gap in treatment for those struggling to lose weight.

Monjaro, commonly known as tarzapatide, is another more powerful diabetes drug.
