Morning school buses were canceled in Oxford County.
School buses in Oxford County have been canceled this morning due to heavy fog and reduced visibility.
Environment Canada has issued a fog advisory for the London-Middlesex area, including Park Hill, Strathroy and Komoka. The Meteorological Department says that fog will persist till early morning.
“Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility at some locations,” the statement said. “If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe distance.”
Southwestern Ontario Student Transportation Services said in a tweet that buses in Oxford County have been canceled for the morning only. Buses will run in the afternoon unless otherwise posted.
