Police say the man was taken to a Brampton hospital in critical condition with a gunshot wound.

Peel police are investigating after a man who was shot was admitted to a Brampton hospital in life-threatening condition Tuesday night.

There is no word yet on where the shooting took place or the suspects.

Peel police are investigating after a man who was shot was admitted to a Brampton hospital in life-threatening condition Tuesday night.

Police said the man went to a local hospital in the area of Bowired Drive and Bramelia Road. Officers were called to the hospital just before 8 p.m.

Police did not say where the shooting took place. No suspect information available.

Officers are continuing to investigate.
