Revolut, the global financial app with more than 40 million customers worldwide, today announced RevPoints, the UK’s first pan-European debit loyalty card program.

This new initiative allows customers to convert their everyday spending into exceptional rewards, including coveted airline miles and exclusive discounts on travel, accommodation, experiences and more.

RevPoints offers comprehensive and easily accessible redemption options tailored to a variety of lifestyles and preferences – without the need for a credit card. Customers can transfer their RevPoints to loyalty programs from over 30 airlines, including British Airways Executive Club, Flying Blue and many more, making travel more affordable than ever despite rising airfares.

Additionally, RevPoints can be redeemed for significant discounts on premium holiday accommodation and unforgettable experiences via the Lifestyle tab in the Revolut app. For everyday convenience and rewards, points when shopping online with Revolut Pay can also be used for discounts at top brands such as French Connection and Dermalogica, ensuring Revolut customers can use every point they earn.

Depending on the plan, users can earn up to 1 point per pound spent and can even increase their earnings by converting loose change into points, completing fun in-app challenges, or making in-app bookings for stays and experiences.*

New users can start their journey with 3,000 points (equivalent to 3,000 airline miles or up to £60 travel discount) after completing 150 eligible transactions. Additionally, users can earn up to 10,000 bonus points by upgrading their plan and meeting spending thresholds within the first 90 days.

For those on Revolut’s Ultra plan, the rewards skyrocket. Customers spending £2,500 a month could earn up to 30,000 RevPoints annually – enough for a free return trip from London to New York or a £600 hotel discount.

Since testing launched in September 2023, over 1 billion RevPoints have been collected and nearly 120 million points have been redeemed by Revolut users across seven European markets.

Christopher Guttridge, general manager of lifestyle products at Revolut, said: “At Revolut we’re all about helping people get more for their money. RevPoints is designed to transform everyday spending into things and experiences people love by turning routine purchases into rewards. Unlike many loyalty programs, we are making RevPoints accessible to everyone by ensuring customers can maximize the benefits of using Revolut as their primary bank account without the need for a credit card.”

Even more lifestyle benefits for paid plan customers

Soon, Revolut customers on Metal and Ultra plans will not only be rewarded with additional RevPoints for their everyday spending, but also with new lifestyle enhancements depending on the plan type.

Customers can stay up to date on this year’s summer of sports with access to The Athletic, perfect a new skill with MasterClass, or improve their chess game with Premium Membership on Chess.com. The new subscriptions complement the current offering – including Financial Times, Deliveroo, Tinder, ClassPass and NordVPN. These new benefits will be available in-app and can be easily activated by customers with eligible paid plans via Profile > Your Plan > Partner.

These changes come one year after the launch of Revolut’s paid Ultra plan in June 2023. Ultra customers can earn the most RevPoints on their spending and get access to all partner benefits. Since launch, Revolut has continued to expand the partner benefits available under the program, which are now worth over £4,255 per year.
