In this case, the allegations leveled against the woman proved to be true. This is the first case where a woman has been convicted under the POCSO Act. The court has also recommended Rs 50,000 as compensation to the victim. The special court said in its decision that it is not necessary that only men are always guilty under the POCSO Act, women can also be guilty.
