Online registration will be started from March 20 for procurement of mustard and gram at subsidized price in the state. A notification has been issued to purchase these crops at subsidized price setting a target of procurement of 6.65 lakh metric tonnes of gram and 15.19 lakh metric tonnes of mustard in the state. Farmers have to register online to sell their produce. Registration facility for the same will be available at E-Mitra or concerned procurement center (Village Service Cooperative Society / Purchase and Sale Cooperative Society). Online registration can be done at these centers from 9 am to 7 pm daily till March 20.

Farmers have to register on Aadhaar based biometric authentication. For online registration one copy of Aadhaar card, bank passbook and gurdwari have to be uploaded during registration. Farmers will be able to do only one registration per mobile number. In the area of ​​the tehsil in which the farmer will have agricultural land, he will be able to select the purchase center in the work area of ​​the same tehsil during online registration. Harvest weighing date and quantity of commodities will be allotted to the farmers on their mobile numbers as per online registration preference. For Rabi marketing season 2023-24, the support price of mustard has been fixed at Rs 5,450 and the support price of gram has been fixed at Rs 5,335. A toll-free number 18001806001 has been issued by RAJFED to address any issue related to online registration, sale and payment of produce to farmers.
