Government’s decision to take action against Imran Khan in light of ISPR statement
ISLAMABAD: The federal government has decided to take legal action against Imran Khan and other leaders in the light of ISPR’s statement.
A meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif was held in Lahore in which the federal government has decided to use its powers on arson, siege and violent activities.
According to sources, the federal government has decided to exercise its powers even on baseless allegations against the institutions, in light of the statement of ISPR that legal action will be taken against Imran Khan and his associates.
Sources say that legal action will be taken against the statements of Imran Khan and his associates against the state and institutions, a committee of constitutional and legal experts has been formed to take action.
Sources have told that action will be taken against setting fire, siege and violent activities in Punjab Governor House and other cities, legal action will also be taken against attack on private properties by PTI leaders and activists.
It was decided in the meeting that strict action would be taken against those who act against the Constitution and the law.
