MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik – March 20, 2023) Chinese President Xi Jinping said in an article for RIA Novosti and Rossiyskaya Gazeta that the purpose of his upcoming visit to Russia would be to strengthen peace and friendship between the two countries, and he Expressed his desire to work closely with Russian President Vladimir Putin on new plans to develop bilateral relations.
Xi will visit Moscow from March 20 to 22 at the invitation of the Russian President. According to the Kremlin, the leaders will discuss bilateral comprehensive partnership, strategic dialogue between Russia and China and further developments on the Ukraine conflict.

According to Xi, the relations between the two countries have passed through a difficult path during their history, which is why the Russian-Chinese friendship should be preserved.
