Bitfinex resolves platform outage after briefly halting trading

Late last night, crypto exchange Bitfinex resolved a platform outage that temporarily halted trading.

“We are investigating issues related to reduced platform performance and have temporarily halted trading,” the exchange’s official X account states. job.

About two hours later, Bitfinex said it identified the issue and began implementing a fix.

Less than ten minutes later, the exchange announced that it was close to completion and would return to view-only mode with the ability to cancel orders five minutes before trading reopened.

The issue was officially resolved at 3:48 UTC.
